Home Improvement Rebates for Canadians

Feeling quandary to renovate your home during crisis times? How if government aids you with home improvement rebates?

Well this is what is happening in Canada. The government of Canada has come up with a new plan to encourage spending in their people. This is named as The Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC). According to this plan, people can claim their home improvement expenditures in the form of tax rebates. The plan ends by January 31st of 2010. This helps people to cut on worries on their home improvement expenditures. Using this plan the homeowners can claim up to 15 percent of the renovation expenditures; but only on projects between $1,000 and $10,000. The maximum tax credit is $1,350. The government has estimated that it will have to provide around $3 billion as tax relief for this plan. It is designed to help around 4.6 million families of Canada.
